At just 19 years old, I’ve already found myself living a dream that many racers chase for decades. Last year, with only four test days under my belt, I took my first step into the world of competitive racing and it turned out to be nothing short of extraordinary.
My debut race remains unforgettable: I qualified on pole position by 1.5 seconds – a margin that felt almost unreal – and then went on to win my first two races by 40 seconds. It was the kind of start that most drivers can only imagine.
But that was just the beginning. For the remainder of the season, I joined the Radical Club Challenge, a series filled with experienced drivers who had been racing longer than I have been alive. Even though I was still learning the ropes, I consistently battled at the front, finishing second in every race, often against cars that were technically faster than mine. It was a crash course in resilience, skill, and strategy – and it proved that determination can sometimes level the playing field against years of experience.
This year, I’ve stepped up to Radical Cup Europe, where the competition is fiercer and the circuits are even more demanding. After just the first race, I’m already challenging the championship leader, a driver who was a full second faster than everyone else last year in Radical Cup UK. At the same time, I’m competing in Radical Cup UK, going wheel-to-wheel with a professional, paid driver and aiming for the championship.
All of this has happened in only eight months of racing, over a total of 12 races – an intense but thrilling whirlwind that has taught me more than I ever expected. Every lap, every corner, and every battle on track has reinforced one thing: talent is important, but courage, focus, and relentless drive define a racer.
Racing isn’t just about speed; it’s about pushing boundaries, seizing opportunities, and believing you belong at the front – even when the odds are stacked against you. At 19, with so much still ahead, I’m just getting started. Europe’s tracks are calling, and I’m ready to answer.
